Events of the Past Year and special events in the coming year

 In August 2000, Silverwells House Hotel & Catering activities were bought by Greenmouse Ltd. Greenmouse Ltd is a young company that is keen to expand into leisure services. Their experience has been built up in the area of providing hotel services.

Future plans include upgrading amenities in each of the bedrooms with the aim of becoming Lanarkshires premier small hotel. A programme of re-decoration of bedrooms has already started and should be complete for Christmas 2000. One of the most significant changes is the creation of a Victorian Dining Room modelled on original Victorian interior design.
